Among the race favorites, Davy and Julie, two particularly experienced skippers, were at the forefront throughout the race. Well positioned on La Palma, further back in the trade winds, they came back in the final sprint and gave their all until finishing sixth.

THEIR RACE DECRYPTED. Hellowork, a hell of a job!

In the long list of favorites and outsiders at the start, Davy Beaudart and Julie Simon had their place. Davy's experience on numerous boats is obviously valuable, and that of Julie, who has been a well-known figure in the Figaro class since 2023, is just as much. " We gave ourselves every technical and sporting means to perform well ," assured Davy. In Concarneau, the duo received the support of Yoann Richomme, 2nd in the Vendée Globe, patron of the Transat Paprec and parton of their boat. It was he who broke the traditional bottle of champagne on the bow. After the honors, it was time for the race. A hell of a battle and a strange encounter . The purple Figaro quickly made a place in the leading pack. 6th at Cape Finisterre, 1st rounding Madeira, 6th at La Palma, Hellowork remained true to its ambitions. In the long rush to the West, however, Davy and Julie chose a more southerly route that proved less rewarding than those of the leaders. They had to work hard and hold on, but it was worth it: the large soft zone before the finish reshuffled the cards and allowed them to get back into the game. Davy and Julie fought until the end before finishing in a respectable 6th place.

Throughout their race, the two skippers also took the time to immortalize their adventure. They were among those who got as close as possible to a submarine while sailing along Portugal. Sunrises, sunsets, surfing in the trade winds, squalls: Davy and Julie recounted their adventures day by day, always with a smile!
