Maggie Adamson will take the start of the Transat Paprec 2025 aboard Solan Ocean Racing , ready to take on the Atlantic in a mixed duo in this legendary race!
“The Transat Paprec will be my third Atlantic crossing, previously in VO65 in 2022 and double-handed in the RORC Transatlantic 2024.
This race will be a series of firsts for me:
- Transatlantic race in one design
- Race in the Figaro class circuit
- Co-skipper of a transatlantic race in the Scottish team.
My co-skipper and I were delighted to win the Double-handed Ocean Racing World Championships last year, which gave us the confidence to compete in the famous Transat Paprec.
I am very excited to test ourselves in these conditions and expect to push our limits to the extreme against some of the world’s best sailors. The intense, close-quarter racing of the Transat Paprec, and the speed, stability and responsiveness of the Figaro Beneteau 3 are fantastic.
I can't wait to experience the atmosphere of the race village in Concarneau and get to the starting line.
